For each Management Consultants policy completed online we make a donation to MS Australia.

Multiple Sclerosis is a debilitating neurological condition affecting more young adult Australians than any other neurological condition. The average age of diagnosis is 30.

MS is the result of damage to myelin-a protective sheath surrounding the nerve fibres of the central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord). When myelin is damaged this interferes with messages between the brain and other parts of the body.

MS is a lifelong disease. Symptoms of MS are unpredictable and change from person to person. They may include tiredness, blurry vision, loss of balance and muscle coordination, slurred speech, difficulty walking, short-term memory loss, tingling and numbness or in severe cases tremors and paralysis.

MS affects 75% more women than men and there is no known cause or cure.

In Australia today, there are approximately 20,000 people living with MS and that figure is rising.
